The core loop is familiar: gold ticks up, you spend it on troops, and whoever destroys the other base wins. What is new is depth. The roster is bigger, with distinct roles at every age, and hero units add a wrinkle — powerful single characters that can turn a lane if you keep them alive. Ages still gate your tech, so pushing to the next era is the real strategic decision, more than any single purchase.
Special attacks return with more variety, and the enemy AI puts up a longer fight, making comebacks feel earned rather than lucky. It plays well as a comfort game: a few rounds of build-and-defend that fit neatly into a lunch break.
How to Play
Accumulate gold passively and from kills, then click unit icons to deploy them along the lane. Hire heroes when available, but treat them like investments — they are expensive to replace. Upgrade your base to unlock the next age and stronger troops; each age also improves your defensive turret. Trigger special abilities to break stalemates or defend against big pushes. Your goal is simple: reduce the enemy base to zero before they return the favor. Losing your own base ends the run instantly.
Tips
- Time your age-up with a big kill: the upgrade cost is worth it only when you can hold the lane afterward.
- Keep heroes behind a wall of cheap units; a hero trading hits with basic infantry is a waste of gold.
- Counter-build: if the enemy floods cheap melee, invest in ranged and area damage rather than more of the same.
